About the initiative

Equal opportunities

The Entropía program, implemented in Argentina, aims to encourage public secondary school students to pursue STEM studies (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), and discover their vocation early in life. The goal is to strengthen the foundations of critical thinking necessary to enroll in engineering university studies.

How it works

In partnership with the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN), Facultad Regional Buenos Aires (UTNBA), the program offers opportunities for active training designed to enable young people to gain the basic knowledge needed for an engineering career. Those who pass the one year training can start any engineering course at UTN, without taking an entrance exam.

Since 2020, we have been supporting Entropía in awarding scholarships to students from La Matanza (province of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and from the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina). In addition, many teachers have been trained in implementing more active education in teaching mathematics and physics.
