About the initiative
The Entropía program, implemented in Argentina, aims to encourage public secondary school students to pursue STEM studies (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), and discover their vocation early in life. The goal is to strengthen the foundations of critical thinking necessary to enroll in engineering university studies.
With this in mind, the program offers active training opportunities designed for students to learn the technical basis necessary for successful university studies, especially in the field of engineering.
Since 2020, scholarships have been granted to students from La Matanza (province of Buenos Aires, Argentina) and from the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina). In addition, many teachers have been trained in implementing more active education at teaching mathematics and physics.
+600 students received Entropía program scholarships in 2021.
93% of program students have completed the program’s academic requirements and entered university.
60 teachers have been trained in STEM studies.
